QUICK-WITTED WOMAN

WATCH OUT BOY, SHE’LL CHEW YOU UP!!!!!

By the Mighty Mumford

A QUICK-WITTED WOMAN

Be careful what you say,

To a quick-witted woman today…

One may be safer,

Avoiding the chaser

If a comment of yours gets away.

I’m not saying that this is bad,

If a woman’s too smart to be “had”…

Just makes life a challenge

If sudden imbalance

Causes you to run on, a tad…!

You suddenly know you are pegged,

When pulling is abruptly legged…

Her comment about age

Sure stopped me mid-stage,

Any more and mercy I’d have begged!

Oh my, yes i am a quick witted woman and also, think sometimes I get annoyed with “dumb lines” that men try to win us over with. I see women giggle and appear to appreciate the comments and get exasperated!

Was it something I said????? 🙂 I seriously have to watch the flattery, especially since I’m not really in the market anyway! I guess you get your attention where you can get it, however it is available. You’ve seen the other side of it and grown in/from the experience. If women won’t listen to experience, what can you do?
