The husband  and the wife had a fight

As to who would take care of whom…

The wife found a way to sit all day

And put things all on the groom.

Envision an element’ry mathematics class

Where one boy is a little slow…

He has to catch up there at his desk

While the rest enjoy an in-class show.

The husband does all the chores lately

While the wife can do less and less…

He feels like the boy that he once was,

There is nothing new, he’d guess.
