Exercise Your Face

FLEX THEM SMILE MUSCLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOME DAYS….by Carl Gooch

Some Days
Some days the words flow free,
The Lord must give, for me to see.
Other days I must be renewed,
That the message is not misconstrued.
There is much to say, much to write;
But without Him it’s just not right.
He has blessed me in a powerful way,
But I am limited on what I can say.
He is my source and He is the base;
I can only write by His holly grace.
In His word He reveals His love
And proves to all He is God above.
In times of joy His name is praised;
In times of trial our hands are raised.
While I am at rest He comes to me,
And He plants in my heart pure beauty.
He gives me His strength to face the day,
And promises He will never go away.
To Him I can surrender all my care,
And trust that He will always be there.
His love is like a warm hug on a cold night.
His word of truth is our guiding light.
His loving promise is our beacon of hope,
That gives us His power to help us cope.

Trust in the Lord
I do not conceal your love
In my heart, from anyone.
I do not hide your promise,
But proclaim it to everyone.
You did not withhold your mercy,
But came down and gave it to me.
In my darkest night you came,
So in the light of day I praise your name.
You lifted me from my pit of sin,
Giving me a new life so I can live again.
The old has gone, the new has come;
I live now for God’s own Son.
My life is now His; He paid the price.
The Lamb of God was my sacrifice.
His precious blood washed over me;
And He rose from the grave in victory.
Let all heaven and earth now sing,
We fear no more death’s dark sting.
Lift our hearts and voices to the Lord,
For blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.

Age is just a number

Olivia Round Town

Here is a beautiful poem written by an elderly man in an Australian hospital which he left to the nurses:

Cranky Old Man…..
What do you see nurses? . . .. . .What do you see?
What are you thinking .. . when you’re looking at me?
A cranky old man, . . . . . .not very wise,
Uncertain of habit .. . . . . . . .. with faraway eyes?
Who dribbles his food .. . … . . and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud voice . .’I do wish you’d try!’
Who seems not to notice . . .the things that you do.
And forever is losing . . . . . .. . . A sock or shoe?
Who, resisting or not . . . … lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding . . . .The long…
