Chocolate chunk cookie in a cup

To continue my experiments with grub in a cup, I decided to try my luck with cookies. Since I particularly like big chunks of chocolate in my cookies, I usually replace chocolate chips with chopped chocolate. I did the same here, but you could use dark, milk or even white chocolate chips. Whatever you go for, all I can say is that, they’ll be the quickest cookies you’ll ever make – without an oven – and of course in a cup. And they are delicious!


  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4-5 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chunks

Melt the butter in a cup in the microwave and add the rest of the ingredients, making sure you go easy on the flour. The consistency should be that of soft cookie dough. Microwave for 40 to 60 seconds. The cooking time will…
