FACING FEAR’S FLURRIES

Driving in the teeth, in the midst

Of a blizzard to work takes grits…

Rememb’ring before

When vision was poor,

Getting lost in wintry drifts.

Seeing snow fall hard from inside

Easily helps fear to reside…

Until one clears away

Accumulation of the day

And rests in God’s protection to ride.

–

Facing old fears naturally

Causes certain anxiety…

To help us take care

In the “getting there”

And driving to conditions aptly.
