SPRINGTIME HAIKU(S)

SPRINGTIME HAIKU(S)

Robin fluffing starts,

Early bird catches frozen berries…

Fruit smoothies on tap.

Salty sand gizzards,

Preseasoning all entrees…

Road sand recycling!

Tough bird’s conditions,

Competition gets fiercer…

Wade into battle!

Off a short pier’s end,

Hardly worth a stolen kiss…

New suitor treads water!

Wintry winds wave branches,

Song birds hold on for dear life…

Singing: a mouthful!

Hope for flowers soon,

Croci and daffodils burst..

Maybe overnight?

HAIBUN???

The challenge to write a haibun

Has already begun…

Will set apart

Those having the most fun!

I completely bypassed the days of looking up to  Madonna or Charlie’s Angels as role models and was born straight into a life of looking to pencil drawings for advice and understanding.

We were being groomed by the television to be girls who were able to feel comfortable being who they wanted to be, whether it be the weirdo that was cool because she…
