Fantasy VS Reality

Connecticuts laziest dreamer

As someone who daydreams and fantasizes about different scenarios to make my work days go by faster, I came to an interesting question today. What would happen if my fantasy actually came true? Let’s say, my crush actually asks me out (don’t mind the cliché example, and just go with it), and we start dating. My wish has come true…I have the boyfriend I dreamed about, but does this stop me from fantasizing?

Would I start a different fantasy, about a different guy? A different life? I’m scared to think that if I were to obtain that dream that I would ultimately ruin it by wishing for something else. How long would I be able to go without creating some other version of a life that seemed exciting? Are we capable of living out our fantasies or are they fantasies because they are never meant to become reality?
