SOME WORDS TO CLOSE OUT THIS MONTH!!!
Many of you reading this are millennials, like me. Our generation is predisposed to be obsessed with pop-culture, and my young impressionable brain was able to relate to strong, female, heroine cartoons growing up. I played Powerpuff Girls at recess with my friends, I could feel Helga G. Pataki’s undying love for one football head, Pepper Ann’s inability to fit in, and Daria’s “life is not fair” cynical mentality. I completely bypassed the days of looking up to Madonna or Charlie’s Angels as role models and was born straight into a life of looking to pencil drawings for advice and understanding.
