Recently I attended a dance gala in a town which shall remain nameless. (This I have to do because it seems people are becoming more and more paranoid about stalker-types who might read a blog like mine and then, um, stalk people I feature on said little-read blog. But if I cannot blog photos I take, what’s the point, I ask you? Most people I offer to take photos for don’t take me up on my offers, and one can only shoot so many landscapes!)

But back to the event. I was there to see but one dancer, who was dancing in but two of the 40 numbers. Rather than succumb to utter boredom, I decided to play…
