OH FACE OF YESTERDAY! #3

Oh face of yesterday
I remember your loving ways
nurturing the child in me
broading my horizons

Always attenative
Oh face of yesterday
sitting on your lap
reading bed time stories

Leading me gently
hand in hand
Oh face of yesterday
you remain dear to me

As months fade away
years gather dust
your in my thoughts
Oh face of yesterday.

AUTHORS NOTE:
Four French Quatrains

line 1 is repeated in
each quatrain
