Summer Oasis – Excerpt from a Photo Shoot

I wanted to share a shot I took on the run if you will. I was in Cave Creek, Arizona for a Father’s Day lunch with my oldest, her husband and my wife. Since I never travel without my camera, no one was surprised when I said I would be right back. A half hour and 70 photographs later, I resurfaced. While the group went shopping, I got a number of “Old West” type shots and then found this courtyard with the trees and plants. The lesson learned here is that I knew my time was limited and the amount of things I kept seeing to take pictures of made me rush. This shot is one of three and they all turned out slightly out of focus on the Bougainville. I remember taking my reading glasses off and on…must have been off at this point…lesson learned! I will…
