TRAVELING LESS

GREEN PEPPERS ARE OUT, TOO!!!

OUR POETRY CORNER

TRAVELING LESS

As we keep getting old,

Our palates become less bold…

Our tummies chafe

For what is safe,

And our doctors often scold.

It means that our wish to travel

Will tend to unravel…

Why become unglued

Because of food,

To live like the rest of the rabble?

I guess we will stay closer home,

With less reason to roam…

Maybe once a year

We’ll visit with dear

Family members to see how they’ve grown.
