Nightmare

Earlier this week.

I had been hired

To rewrite

A screenplay

For a major studio.

I was excited,

And eager

To prove myself.

The director loved

My ideas,

And all

I had to do

Was sell

My vision

To the producer.

The meeting

Took place

At the studio.

Everyone was

So nice to

The screenwriter,

Who was going

To save

The project.

The director

Warned me

That the Producer

Was a tad

“Unique”.

I thought

I could handle

Whatever Hollyweird

Threw at me.

I was not prepared,

However,

For Yoda.

“Your ideas

Like I do.”

“More changes

To third act

Must you make.”

“Better develop

Conflict please

You must.”

“Too confusing

Dialogue it is.”

I left the meeting

Unsure of what

He wanted

And feeling like
