Kitten in the Attic

Sunday the inner (s)elves adopted a kitten,

a little girl they have named Ginger Rodgers,

she is a tiny tabby that will fit in their little hands,

or, my pocket, or purse if I am out doing errands.

I have to say, we were in quite a state

after watching a movie called Selma on Saturday.

Selma, visually depicted a lot of misunderstandings and Hate.
The inner (s)elves did their best to calm down and rest, but sleep

they did not and on Sunday we were out

and we found a Ginger Tabby, kitten in a cardboard box..
leave her there…. we, me and the inner (s)elves, thought NOT!..

So, we have adopted Ginger the Kitten,

brought her back to our attic home of
a Bakers Dozen inner (s)elves, bears, assorted apes,
a baby boston terrier,and a wolverine.

Ginger is sleeping now in my bed now,
