DON’Y GET EXCITED—IT’S JUST A POEM!

DON’T GET ECCITED—UNTIL AFTER YOU’VE READ IT~~~

OUR POETRY CORNER

IT’S JUST A POEM!

The impotent man looks askance

On stories that feature romance,

His wife thinks them fine

But he draws the line

Consid’ring they no longer dance.

He prefers to not get excited

By feelings long unrequited

Or the means to act

With love-making tact

That’s why he’s no longer delighted.

So while she watches awed…

He finds the watching faux pas-ed,

Sometimes He can’t watch

And pours himself scotch

Considering his life to be flawed.
