You’re a Beautiful Memory

I UNDERSTAND.

Russ Towne's A Grateful Man

You’re a Beautiful

Memory

Long after

You’ve gone

Your memory

Brings

Hope

In the deepest

Depths of despair

Beauty

When ugly

Seems everywhere

Love

To transform apathy

Wisdom

To help my eyes to see

Light

That shines through darkest days

Direction

To help me find my way

Compassion

Of the warmest kind

Helps to ease

My troubled mind

Frees my soul

From tyranny

Your memory brings

Such gifts to me

Blessings

I rely upon

To

Stay

Alive

Long after

You’ve gone
