The Wait


My Love Forever & Always

Many things have been circling in my mind lately about the promises of God. One thing in particular that I keep coming back to is the wait; the wait to see God’s promises fulfilled. Granted, in comparison to eternity, the wait isn’t that long. Peter reminds us that to the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. I ask the Holy Spirit every day to strengthen me with the grace to patiently wait in expectation for the promises He has placed in my heart and confirmed in His Word. On my mind, though, are the mighty men and women of faith that we read about in the Bible. God promised Abraham that his offspring would be as numerous as the stars; yet, Sarah was barren.
