IT’S JUST A JOB

By Jonathan Caswell

Someone at work wanted just to vent,

Complaining of a co-worker bent

On causing her much pain,

Though she tried to refrain

From telling him where he already went!

I had to empathize with her impasse,

For I worked with several pains who were crass…

So I stood and listened

As her eyes almost glistened,

At the end of the shift this too will pass.

In a Selfie Mode

I THINK THE BLONDE WITH THE KITTEN LOOKING OVER THE TOP OF HER HEAD SHOULD WIN—PAWS DOWN!!!!

RE:ARTISTE International Art Organization

In a modern alphabet, “S” stands for “selfie”, no doubt. Today, exchanging and posting selfies became one of the main ways to communicate. So what is “selfie”? A selfie is a term for a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a digital camera or camera phone held in the hand or supported by a selfie stick. This is how Wikipedia explains it.

Art critic Jerry Saltz once mentioned that probably it was Kim Kardashian who invented a selfie and thus she made her contribution to the art world. Why not? We know many great artists for their self-portraits. The media changed, and in our digital age a new artist may appear to be considered a genius of selfies.

Selfie became a strong tool of self-expression, for good or bad. Psychologists are suggesting the diagnoses for those who post too many selfies. Teens are experimenting with their postures and photo filters, women…

Homosexuality and Scripture

FROM SCANNING THIS—THIS IS MY BELIEF, TOO!!!…YET…IN GOD’S LOVE, I WILL LOVE ANYONE.

Veritas De Christus

Due to recent events, such as homosexuality and legalization of same-sex “marriage,” it seemed good to me to present what scripture has to say in regards to these events.1 For those who are aware of the passages which speak negatively of same-sex relations (SSR henceforth); it might seem clear as day. However, there are those who contend that Christians have misinterpreted scripture today and we fail to see the real issue being spoken of. 2 It is no longer seeing as what God has intended for us to understand from the Biblical writers, but interpret everything in light of ones sexual orientation. The argument can be summed up as, “It doesn’t make me feel happy that I can’t love whom I choose. So, if I’m not happy then it must not be what God wants.”

We would agree that God is the source of all goodness and joy…

FALSE TEACHER FRIDAY

THE POOR SHEEP GOT SKINNED!!!

Living4HisGlory

Capture Wolf in sheep's clothing - Photobucket“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you.” (2 Peter 2:1)

Welcome to another post in a new Category of posts that I have entitled, ‘False Teacher Friday – Learning The Importance of Being a Berean.’ Lord willing, once every month or so, I will be presenting you with information that you need to be aware of concerning certain popular Christian teachers or pastors, and information concerning some teachers or pastors that are not so well known. Their teachings will be misleading at the least, and heretical at the worst. If embraced, some of these teachings will lead you to a wrong understanding of Scripture, and others will lead you away from Biblical truth and the true Jesus Christ and into the world of mysticismand the occult.

Some of the teachers that I will be writing about will not…

The Space Needle – Excerpts From a Photo Shoot

VERY POINTED MESSAGE…POIGNANT..(???) PICTURES!

thewallgalleryblog

I wanted to continue from the last few weeks of sharing shots from our June weekend in the Seattle, Washington area (Ferry to Friday HarborRoche HarborHenry Island to Anacortes). This week is my final installment and what would a photo shoot in the Seattle area be without the infamous Space Needle. We stopped by Kerry Park, which is located in the Queen Anne District of Seattle. The park covers the southern slope of Queen Anne Hill and from the top elevation of the park; the sweeping views of Seattle are spectacular.

Space Needle 1 Space Needle 1

This first capture gives you an overall feel for the view towards the Space Needle and downtown. I like the fact that on the far left side of the frame, you can see a seaplane on its final approach to landing in Lake Union. Lake Union is to the immediate…

Fashion Fridays!!!

SOUNDS LIKE GOOD ADVICE TO ME! 🙂

Teens4reals

Hey guys! I know it has been a while, because us here at Teens4reals have had a busy summer. It’s Ary here for Fashion Friday today because both Oompie and Kylie went on different camping trips! I got Tonsillitis this week (Strep throat when you still have your tonsils) so please bare with us until the summer is over. But, on that note, lets jump into Fashion Friday!!!!

So this tip is for bathing suits: If you are under the age of thirteen, you should not be wearing bikinis. You are way to young to be showing that much skin.Maybe go for a tankini instead. If you are thirteen plus, you can wear a bikini but wear what makes you comfy, not what other people like.

That’s all for this Fashion Friday so until Tuesday for Question time!

Xoxo,

Ary

Product Description
“Spirit-Led Limericks and Other Christian Poetry is a collection of mostly limericks and some four-lined and haiku poetry, expressing spiritual insight gained by the author over his lifetime (i.e.: what God has taught him through the Bible, study, other believers and experience, so far, in his life journey). Some of it is opinion, but most poems are an attempt by the author to put in his own words spiritual principles and his personal awakening to the truth and practicality of a belief in Jesus Christ. Many poems have a direct reference to certain passages in the Bible the author has studied by himself and formally with other believersoften using more than one version at a time for comparison. The author hopes that by presenting this collection, other people may have their own eyes opened and be encouraged in their faith or exhorted into faith in Jesus Christ, to the honor and glory of God the Father, through the Holy Spirit. So read, consider and enjoy! ”
