The electricians on our crew must have heard Gary Wehunt say the phrase ââŚof a morningâ a dozen times before someone brought it to his attention.  I think it was Andy Tubbs while we were sitting in our Monday Morning Safety Meeting.  He said, âWhat did you just say?â  Gary repeated himself,  âI do âsuch and suchâ of a morning.â  âOf a morning?  What does that mean?â  Gary asked, âWhat?  Of a Morning.  Isnât that right?â
Itâs true that there is a certain âPower Plant Speakâ that seems unique to people that work in factories, power plants, line crews and other such situations. Â I can speak only for the power plants where I worked. Â I would describe the type of speech as âcolorfulâ. Â Not in a vulgar sort of way, but in a flowery way.
