A PROTECTION PRAYER

I pray Thee, Lord, for protection,
For my car and it’s Inspection…
Unfortunately delayed
By moneys unpaid,
Help me avoid Police detection…
…until it’s done!
–
I pray dear Lord, the car can be fixed,
Not leaving us between and betwixt…
With no wheels
Frustration congeals
And a man’s life “deep-sixed”!
–
Lord, we pray for the shop,
Who’ll help the final bill drop…
Or give us time
In a credit line,
Til we can grow a new crop…
….of money!
