IN THE SHOP

IN THE SHOP

The light of my life in the shop,

Relieved that her swelling stopped…

Losing fluid

Just to do it,

Get back pep with her pop.

She’s in the hospital, you,

What else could she do…?

She could barely move

In pain behooved

She take in less salt–too!

I’ve visited her every day

And when I come home to stay…

Foods with salt

I’m eating as ought,

Before she returns…Tuesday!

Thank you…she is improving…and I’m getting a good walk in every time I visit her. Had to buy myself another cane ’cause I left mine at home! Now one–or both–are in the car. Over 38 lbs. of fluid so far has drained from her legs and body…!
