Mariah Carey Wants ‘Humble’ Wedding

HUMBLE—HOW???? I LIKE HER AND DO WISH HER WELL.

CelebUpdateNews

Mariah Carey says she doesn’t want to have an extravagant wedding and hopes for something “beautiful but humble.”

The E! News reports, the singer recently got engaged to billionaire James Packer after a whirlwind romance. It will be the third marriage for both of them, and as Carey insists, they want to keep the ceremony and celebrations simple.

Carey expressed her thoughts about the wedding, “We are not doing a big wedding because he did two big weddings, and it’s kind of like, ‘I’ve done a big wedding too. We would rather make it beautiful but humble.”

The 45-year-old singer was previously married to music executive Tommy Mottola and America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, the father of her four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

And James has also been married twice before, to Jodhi Meares and Erica Baxter, the mother of his three children.

A Writer’s Quirks.

WRITERS HAVE QUIRKS????? THAT’S NEWS TO ME! 😀 AYE-YUH! AND PROUD OF THEM–MOST OF THEM, ANYWAY.

I sit here sharing a peanut butter sandwich with My-My, when we were young by Adele plays on the radio, the smell of bleach still hangs in the air. I’ve been cleaning the bathroom, for the second time today. I have been cleaning a lot lately, which if you ask my sister means I am blocked on my current manuscript, a fact I vehemently deny mind you! But there maybe some truth to the theory. My cleaning sprees do tend to coincide with my bad writing days, it seems like the more cluttered my plot, the more I try to work it out by scrubbing everything around me. I won’t elaborate but we…

JUGGLING FAVORITES

JUGGLING FAVORITES

Imagine only so much space,

Making tough decisions to face…

Whom to invite

Or what underwrite,

Can we logically place?

People get into this too,

How much time I have for you?

Are we friends

And something portends,

Or you ‘d dump me and be cruel?

How far can I go in my talk,

Considering it’s a long walk…

From here to there,

Is it better to share

Something at which they won’t balk?

Case-in-point, with my trains,

Deciding which industry reigns…

Scrap or abrasives

Solutions evasive,

But it all takes delightful pains!

AN “EARLY SPRING DAY”

AN “EARLY SPRING DAY”

At the end of this month THAT’S how it felt,

Piles of snow continued to melt…

Roads were dry but for runoff streams

But nothing in New England

Really is what it seems;

The end of January

Two thousand sixteen

And we will be living

A warm winter’s dream!

(But…for how long?  😀   )

Why do we need to listen and give hope?

LISTENING IS A NECESSARY SKILL—BEFORE WE CAN GIVE SOMEONE HOPE! 🙂

Why do we need to listen and give hope?

Hello everyone, thank you for checking in with me. I have been overwhelmed with how wonderful my wordpress community is. I have been inspired, moved and tearful reading the stories and experiences of my follow bloggers. I just want to say well done to everyone for being willing to help others to grow and develop. I have so much hope for the present and the future that I feel blessed.

I have had a challenging couple of weeks, and each time when things were really getting to me, something or someone gave me hope and encouragement. I hurt my knee and it has been giving me such pain and discomfort that it has been getting me down. It’s amazing how so many movements and activities involve bending your knee.  I am hoping that one way or another, my knee issue gets resolved…
