If you love pencil skirts, the history behind this timeless fashion might just interest you. When the Wright Brothers first chose a female passenger to ride in their plane, chains and propellers cranked close to her, blowing her skirt up (think Marilyn Monroe style). To avoid a disaster, the brothers tied a rope below her knee.
