COMFORT ME. by Carl Gooch

Comfort Me

When the storms shake me, Lord, comfort me.

When the storms shake me, Lord, comfort me.

When the winds toss me, like a ship at sea;

Lord of the winds and water, comfort me.

Lord of love and mercy, hear my plea

My heart knows, only you can comfort me.

When I get tired and weak, Lord, comfort me.

When I get tired and weak, Lord, comfort me.

When I do the best I can, Lord, help me stand;

Loving Lord with your power, comfort me.

Lord of love and mercy, hear my plea

My heart knows, only you can comfort me.

When I grow old and frail, Lord, comfort me.

When I grow old and frail, Lord, comfort me.

When my race run, when my work is done;

Gracious Lord in your mercy, comfort me.

Lord of love and mercy, hear my plea

My heart knows, only you can comfort me.

Lord of love and mercy, hear my plea

My heart knows, only you can comfort me.

The Gateway Pundit by Jim Hoft

A rally organized by Muslim groups held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on July 23 was planned with the goal of drawing 100,000 attendees. Only dozens showed up according to media reports.

AN ELEGANT WAY OF SHOWING THE JOY FOUND IN MY/OUR LORD!

Prose Me

A couple of months ago, I read through the book of Romans and put my favorite verses on photos I had scanned from days gone by or taken recently from my kitchen window or my recent walkabouts here in Ohio. I’ll post one a day. I saved these “posters” for my desktop wallpaper, which is a great way to feel good when I see them. Today’s photo my husband took back in 1985 in north San Diego county.
