The engine coughed to start,
Was really a diesel smoke fart…
Then it caught–
Ran like it ought–
Pouring out smoke very dark!
–
Every acceleration,
Like a conflagration…
Smoke would retch
Out til the catch
Up with operations!
–
Steam engines honorary,
Aren’t that ordinary…
Rail fans joke
About the smoke,
But cameras search out these quarry!
