WILL THEY LISTEN TO GOD’S WORD? I PRAY SO!
I pray for peace but as I open my eyes and I say “Amen” I find a country more divided in the end. I see a people angry to their core – and even worse, I see a church at war. I watch Christians standing on opposites sides of a battle, throwing stones at each other, forgetting we are all sisters and brothers. And as the war and bitterness wage on, the world wonders if our hope is merely a con.
I was going to write something super profound and eloquent about how Christians ought to respond in this tense post-election setting.
