WHERE I GO…by Carl Gooch

Where I Go

This world is filled with sin here below,

It’s so easy for me to get confused.

There is only one place that I can go,

Your word is the measure that is used.

When my heart is breaking in two,

And I’m tired and don’t know what to do,

I get on my knees and call out to you.

I run to you knowing you’ll see me through.

Where do I turn, where can I go,

When these sins are as dark as coal?

Where can I go, Lord, where can I go

I turn to you the refuge for my soul.

When my heart is breaking in two,

And I’m tired and don’t know what to do,

I get on my knees and call out to you.

I run to you knowing you’ll see me through.

Lord, you are my comfort, my peace,

In your arms your love will never cease.

You are my refuge my mighty fortress,

I turn to you in those times of distress.
