What a great fire the tongue,

Has in people wrung…

Tiny sparks

Invade hearts,

Oh the dastardly done!

Alas, his edge he knows,

But sometimes cuts it too close…

Sadly it appears

He’s done it for years,

And misfigures the given dose1

One friend who’s faced his blunders,

Sincere and lovingly wonders…

If he kept still

Would that fit the bill,

Before a hurt party thunders?
