Been through this all before,

Not darkening that church’s door…

YES-they’re friends–

Conversation ends–

The same as years before!

It’s like I’m not needed,

But loved, accepted and repeated…

For granted being taken

Out of the loop, forsaken-?

My enthusiasm’s depleted!

I love these folk like my arm,

But loyalty’s doing me harm…

Unwilling to move

Stuck in a groove,

Keeping a recliner warm!

There’s a Second church in town,

With access to get up and down…

time to change

find new range,

No more room to keep going down.
