There once was a closet Christian
With rusty armor that no one knew.
Could his claim of being a Christian
If there was no change, be true?
Was the man living as a Christian?
Did he let the light of Christ shine?
He may have the clothes of a Christian
But where they clothes hanging on a line?
Was it fear that hid this Christian?
Where were his faith and his trust?
Didn’t he know the armor of a Christian?
Or maybe from no use it turned to rust.
If we are to claim to be a Christian
Then as Christians we strive to live
The world will know we’re a Christian
When they see His love that we give.
