Hate to say it, Jon, but the eagle in that picture isn’t bald. A bald eagle has a pure white body of feathers. The one in the picture had gray n’ white spots all over the area with feathers.

Well as was mentioned in the caption—it is an IMMATURE bald eagle. They don’t get the white “bald” feathers until they are fully grown, Good noticing, anyway! 🙂
