Enter this portal of dreams,

How many hair-brained schemes…

Are shoved through the door

To appear no more,

Because of improper means?

Frequent dream manipulation,

Forfeits active imagination…

Directed flow

Kills, don’t you know,

Spontaneous creation?

Let your censors relax,

Nothing  in thought impacts…

Even while writing

Stuff too inviting,

Still can be left in the stacks!

Writing should let it flow–

But sometimes gotta force it to go…

But no censoring,

Until something worthwhile shows!

For this poet, one year

At least to overcome fear…

And then write

Day and night,

All sorts of subjects appeared!

Ah, the portal of dreams,

Leave behind you your schemes…

Immerse inside

Let the dream ride,

Just enjoy what streams!
