Yes, I know how many killed,

Hard to explain the weak-willed…

Easily swayed

To join a parade

Of would-be assassins, who have killed!

Sometimes I need a break,

Why a missionary’s life I couldn’t take…

Needing time

To unwind,

Assuming my shack doesn’t shake!

Some writers use fantasy

As focused coping strategy…

Weaving stories

Hardship and glories,

Showing cruel humanity!

Writing gives one power

To bring about blessings’ shower…

A story that teaches

We’re not beyond all reaches,

Heaven is in our grasp this very hour!
