My Roughest Storm…by Carl Gooch

My Roughest Storm
Sometimes this world gets the best of me,
But that is not what God planed for me.
It was God’s Son who paid my debt for me
Yes, Christ bled and died to set me free.
In the midst of my raging storm,
When I’m in troubled water,
It is His love that keeps me warm.
When I am weak and feeling low,
I seek the shelter of His arms.
Yes, He can quiet my roughest storm.
I am learning to place my trust in you
You prove you will always see me through.
Why has it taken me so long to see?
That you have always been there for me?
In the midst of my raging storm,
When I’m in troubled water,
It is your love that keeps me warm.
When I am weak and feeling low,
I seek the shelter of your arms.
Yes, you can quiet my roughest storm.
It is your love that keeps me warm.
When I am weak and feeling low,
I seek the shelter of your arms.
Yes, you can quiet my roughest storm.
