Rejoice

This is a time to rejoice,

In my heart I have no choice.

His love in my heart overflows

And praises to God I give voice.

We wander no more in darkness

We were sent a great light;

We no more live in the darkness

For into our lives shone God’s light.

Open your hearts and rejoice,

In songs of praise give voice.

Show His love so everyone knows

Rejoice; praise God and rejoice.

It’s not about what we can give

It’s about what He gave;

He died for us, that we may live;

And no more to sin be a slave.
