MY DEAR ISSHA–YOU ARE BOTH WISE IN YOUR STORIES AND EFFECTIVE IN YOUR DOODLING. THANK YOU FOR GRACIOUSLY ARRIVING INTO OUR NECK OF THE WOODS!
The heart was tried for feeling,
the heart was accused of late healing,
The heart had nothing to say in defense,
for the heart had never known any pretense…
The judges were the minds of those,
who’d crushed their own hearts like a frail rose,
who were devoid of any honest expression,
yet adept in extracting confessions…
The heart gave in to the pressure,
for the heart it’s emotions treasured…
and so, with no portentous warning nor presage,
the heart was imprisoned for life in the rib-cage!
