The Way I Used To Be…

The Way I Used To Be
The way I used to be, I don’t want to be no more
The way I used to be, I don’t want to be no more
I used to hold a grudge, I wouldn’t let the anger go.
The way I used to be, Lord, I don’t want to be no more.
Lord, I used to talk bad about others,
I used to cuss and take your name in vain.
I used to complain about my brothers,
I want to walk with you and in love remain.
I must confess, Lord, I knew it was not your way.
The way I used to be, I don’t want to be no more
The way I used to be, I don’t want to be no more
I want to hold your hand and let those old ways go.
The way I used to be, Lord, I don’t want to be no more.
