RUNNING AND WRITING MACHINE!!!!
As I chronicled three weeks ago, I decided to motivate myself to kick further ass in my running program by setting a goal of collecting 200,000 steps in a week.
They said it couldn’t be done.
They called me crazy for even thinking I could push myself that hard.
They told me I’d regret even trying.
Obviously, I did it, or else there wouldn’t be much to this post. I hit 200,000 steps on a Thursday and did not dip below that magic number until this past Saturday.
And it’s not like I couldn’t have kept going. I didn’t suddenly give up on my fitness program or anything.
I just realized I had proved that I could do it, and it was time to give my body some much needed rest.
