Calm Turbulence

GOOD ONE!

a k o s i l e

I lie awake

Speaking mysteries

Only to the skies

They speak calmly

Whispering monotones

Serene changes

Except for their eyes

That blink and stare

Once crimson

Then yellow

But now the hues

have gone astray

The brilliant mellow

Won’t stay

Mind your budget

She says

Fix your gadgets

Adjust your bubble

You get to be

The boss of one

The sky won’t budge

And men won’t bend

The snow must fall

You be you

And that is all

You get to do
