Poet when the flood came in,
Got busy with a wide grin…
He joyfully camped
Until he could answer the joyous din!
Even got a poem or two
Of his own to stick in this brew…
But he sees
It’s time to ease,
Himself out before succumbing to…?*
A joy-filled adieu to old friends,
New ones, to you he intends…
To keep stopping by
Or will at least try,
Don’t let him forget—as he wends!
To those highly favored few
(Yes there are some),
He particularly cherishes you—
Being so willing
To allow him billing,
When it suits on your own blogs—THANK YOU!
*Had to change the line to rhyme…per proper limerick form. And SOMETIMES leave the reader guessing! 😀
