A Voice from Iran

I just remembered a memory of my young 20s. It taught me a lesson, so I thought it would be good to share.

I was back home in Iran and I was married and had my son. There was a female gathering in a relative’s house and I was getting ready for the party.

My husband was going to stay at home and take care of our son until I came back.

When I kissed them goodbye to go to the car to leave, our car didn’t start. Something was wrong. My husband tried to fix it fast, but it was no use.

I couldn’t wait much longer because I was very late for the party. We decided that I’d walk to the main street which was very close to get a taxi.
