“Wearing Pants”—a Donna Does Dresses reblog

Wearing Pants and Staying Cosy …

JULY 23, 2019

Window Pane Print Pants and A Green Jumper …

As my user name indicates, I generally prefer dresses, but there are times when I wear pants.

In cooler weather, pants definitely have the advantage and they’re far more suitable in a casual application.

Being high waisted, these pants by @reviewaustralia are a very nice fit, both across the front and around the hips.

To emphasise my best feature, my waist, I tucked the green jumper into the waist band.

I like the wide yoke on these little pants and the little buttons over the faux back pockets that give the pants a more casual vibe.

They have a side zip which ensures a nice flat, neat front to them.

The legs are straight and fitted and are very flattering on my petite, curvy frame and I find they work best with a bit of a heel.

Going Green …

Rather than going with black or white on top, I decided to go for a jewel colour, opting for green.

I’ve also worn these pants with red but only had my green jumper with me down here on the farm!

Adding Something Extra…

With both coloured jumpers I stayed with this neat and slim-cut black leather jacket, although I went for a tartan scarf with the red jumper and a bold green necklace with the green jumper – the shoes and boots were also changed.

Monochromatic looks are my favourite but I think the colour works great with these pants and jacket – what do you think? I’d love to hear!

Thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web,
