DON’T POKE ME IN THE EYE!

WHO’D WANT TO SHISH KABOB THIS LITTLE ONE?

SOUTHERN WRITER

dog eyes

DON’T POKE ME IN THE EYE!

You may tickle my tummy

Or pinch my thigh,

But please, oh please

Don’t poke me in the eye!

You may use me, abuse me

Or even say I lie,

But please, oh please

Don’t poke me in the eye!

My tummy and thigh

Are as tough as a nail,

And I can handle insults

Fairly well,

But if you poke my juicy gob,

My vision will be robbed,

When my poor eyes

Are shish kabobbed!   😊
