Judgment calls in the way that make us feel superior and able to place others beneath our heal is not the right way to healthily evaluate others’ behavior.
However, judging others in regard to our own personal safety (and the safety of our loved ones), or as a result of listening to our intuition’s warning signals telling us to keep our distance from a particular person, or group, is entirely warranted.
It says in The Bible that we are “not to judge others, lest we be judged”; however, God’s Word also states that we are to “love everyone, but trust no one”, as in the verse about being “as innocent as doves, but as shrewd as snakes” (Mathew 10:16). It also makes mention that “keeping bad company will corrupt a person’s good character”.
So yes, judging others in a self-righteousness frame of mind or holding superiority over others is…
