Once with church loyalty,

When people left, poetry…

Their vaporizing,

Expressing his view sadly.

Took little pleasure to serve,

Isolation (he deserved-?)…

Poor health and depression

Made their expression

When thinking of church, he swerved.

Friends there–of course–

But dissatisfaction forced…

Him to seek

Another creek,

That would challenge as a matter of course!

Perhaps in newer ground

His spirit could rebound…

Some place he

And his wife could be,

Without opening old wounds?
