Spacious

I once caught fire with indignation
why me?
I sweat some thoughts
with mangled mind
but nothing changed,
my mind a cinema
of replayed plots and plans,
and when I finally did let go
what once seemed weak
now felt strong
a paradox of vision,
acceptance is a messy game
both simple and complex
and yet
perceived,
the losers prize
now a brave new world
so spacious I can breathe.
