Where is love?

Roses & Brimstone

Where is love? – by Stephanie, 2020

Cathedrals sing their holy songs
Bishops in vast fineries adorn
But where is Love whom God is among?
Is He within the rose bushes that surround the church grounds?
Or having communion with birds in the trees above?
Is He among you, you who claim to love Him?
He is far from the proud and near to the humble
Do not deceive yourself for God can’t be fooled

Do not prance around in temporary riches
Nor gloat in gleeful pride
Holiness is in the heart
Love is God
Do you have Love in your hearts?
