I live a life of no fairytales

But sometimes I wish I could fly

But then my life would be too easy

And then I’ll never live the times that I’ll try

I live a life of no fairytales

But sometimes I wish I could be royalty

But then I won’t get to use

The skills that I own

And I won’t get to be me

I live a life of no fairytales

But sometimes I wish I could be a superhero

But then I’d be too busy saving the world

To be grateful for what I love so

I live a life of no fairytales

As I always have been

And sometimes you have to look past wishes

For the things that need to be seen!
