Be the Tree
Growing branches or
Charred and hollowed out
Still reading for the light.

Barren or Green
We continue the good fight
Remembering where we came from
Our mission, our plight.

Some of us won’t make it
Others fighting for their life
The invisible robber of our bodies
But it can’t take our soul.

A pod in the tree of life
Our stories won’t go untold
From ashes we came, to ashes we all go
As we take root, trusting with all of our might.

Better days are coming
So don’t give up hope
Stay Home, Stay Safe
We’ll see you in the morning light/

❤️🙏❤️

well…I studied Biology in college and started writing in High School. I’m an introvert who has found his favorite medium–with 62 years of life to draw on and I’ve figured out that a lot of things—not all—can be discussed poetically. There’s a lot out there in God’s creation to celebrate! 😀

uh..no! I’m using the “free blog” arrangement,so that no one needs to pay for the Good News I make available—either through my poetry or posts by others. The blog allows my to write or blog what I want.

in fact, I just reblogged it AFTER reading it. Closer than a quick scan. Now excuse me—I’m stepping out on a crumbly ledge and need to better explain my position—that of being FOR ISRAEL. Had to unfollow a blogger who would probably have nothing more to do with me, anyway 😦 Plus it is late out here! Please excuse me, I have work to do! 🙂

You are faster than a speeding bullet. I was in slumber land now up and running. You’re excused… lol. we all have our opinions to share which is all good. I guess I’m so sick of the for and against I just stay neutral most of the time.. maybe not so great either! I think we get more discerning on who we follow and find our niche. I’m still in the infancy stage of “oh they like me (so excited) I’ll like them too” and then I think wait, “I can’t read their language etc”. lol. Hope you have an unwork day for a change. 😀

OH WELL…THE LONELY AUTHOR BLOG (DREW) GAVE ME THE ANGEL MONIKER…I GUESS I WAS KIND TO HIM, BY HIS RECKONING—DIDN’T TREAT HIM—OR YOU–ANY DIFFERENTLY THAN ANY OTHER BLOGGER, WITH ONLY A FEW EXCEPTIONS! THERE—I’VE ADMITTED IT!
