The old lady

There lived an old lady at the end of the street. People said she was a witch. It had already been seven years since her husband died and she lived alone in that big house. She had a lot of estate and wealth, but also nobody visited her. It was a three-storeyed house, and big trees surrounded it so, there was never a shred of sunlight there. People said it was a haunted house. From the balcony, she used to catch a glimpse of everyone. Every time I walked outside the house she was there, every time I played she was there, she was always looking at me. At least I felt that way.
